Rooted in faith, growing in love, and serving our local community together.
The Heart of Berrynarbor
A Church for All Generations
With a rich history at the heart of our village, St Peter’s Church has stood as a symbol of faith and belonging over centuries.
Today, we continue that legacy by welcoming everyone - young and old - to worship, learn, and grow together in Christ.
Join us this Sunday
Growing In Prayer.
Serving the people of Berrynarbor with joy.
Making New Disciples.
At St Peter’s, we share in the Diocese of Exeter’s vision of growing in prayer, making new disciples, and serving the people of Berrynarbor with joy. Everything we do, from our Sunday worship to our community gatherings, school partnerships, and quiet moments of reflection, is rooted in a desire to draw closer to God, to welcome others into the journey of faith, and to live out Christ’s love in ways that bless our village and everyone who calls it home.

What to expect on a Sunday morning.
We gather for worship each Sunday at 10:00am, following the Church of England tradition of prayer, Scripture, and reflection. All are warmly invited to join us.
Do I have to be a regular churchgoer to attend?
Everyone is welcome at St Peter’s, whether you’ve been part of church life for years or are visiting for the first time. We’re a friendly community where all are received with open arms.
Our doors are open most days for anyone who’d like to step inside, light a candle, or simply enjoy the stillness of this beautiful place.
Is the church open during the week?
Is St Peter’s connected to Berrynarbor Primary School?
Our partnership with Berrynarbor Primary is a special part of who we are. Together, we support children and families as they grow in faith, learning, and kindness. Our Thursday mornings as we welcome the children into our church is a very special time for everyone involved.
Can I have my wedding, baptism, or funeral at St Peter’s?
Life’s biggest moments often find their way to St Peter’s. Whether you’re welcoming a new life, celebrating love, or saying goodbye, we’re happy to discuss this special time with you.
Our story is part of a wider one. St Peter’s belongs to the Combe to Combe Benefice, alongside two other wonderful parish churches: Pip & Jim’s and St Peter ad vincula Take a moment to explore their communities, history, and worship.
